The dashboard is where you land after signing in. It is a summary of your church right now, and a set of shortcuts into the things waiting for someone to deal with.
What is on it
- The Overview tab: while your church is new, a checklist of next setup steps; after that, a banner when something is waiting for you. Below it, cards summarising people, groups, events, giving and recent activity — each opens its full page.
- The Operational tab: the queues of things actually waiting on you — approvals, message replies and prayer requests. The number on the tab is how many are waiting.
- The options menu: Edit layout to add, remove and rearrange cards, Date range, and Redo onboarding to bring back skipped setup steps.
The Operational tab is the part worth checking daily. Everything else on the page you could find by navigating; the queues are the page telling you something needs doing.
Why yours looks different
If you expected a section and it is not there, it is almost always a permission rather than a fault. See Built-in roles.
If it looks empty
A new church has nothing to summarise yet. Add your people and it fills up — see Import people from a CSV.
