An Active campaign with a public link turned on has a page anyone can open — no account, no app, no sign-in: Donation Page for a quick gift, Donation Page & Landing for the full story. It is what you put on a screen, in a newsletter, or behind a QR code at the back of the church.

What a donor sees

  • Your church’s name, so they can tell they are in the right place.
  • The campaign, what it is for, and its progress towards a target if you set one.
  • One-time or Monthly, an amount, and their name and email — or Give anonymously.
  • Donate, which opens Stripe’s secure checkout for the card.
  • A confirmation when it goes through.

Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch your church’s account or ours. Nobody at your church can see a donor’s card number, and that is by design.

Sharing the link

  • A QR code on the seats or the noticeboard, which is what most people actually use.
  • A link in your newsletter or on your website.
  • A message to your congregation — see Send a message.

After someone gives

The donation appears against the campaign on its Donors tab, with the donor’s details unless they gave anonymously. Once your Stripe account is Active, the money is transferred to it and Stripe pays it out to your bank on its own schedule — so a payout can cover several gifts, or arrive days after them. Your Stripe dashboard is where to match the two.
