Connect and Marketplace used to be sold separately, as add-ons. They no longer are: both are included with every plan, with no cap and no line on your bill. Neither has to be switched on.
Connect
Church-to-church community. In the sidebar it is called Community. It lets your church find other churches on SynaiConnect, connect with them, and share parts of church life across congregations.
- Discover churches in your country and worldwide
- Send and accept connection requests between churches
- Groups, events and prayer shared across connected churches
Marketplace
A private classifieds area for your members: goods, services and jobs, both offered and wanted, inside your own community.
- Goods, services and jobs, offered and wanted
- Messaging on every listing
- Listings that run for 14 days, with renewal and a way to mark them completed
- Moderation tools and posting rules
What Connect does and does not change
What Connect adds is specifically the cross-church part: the directory of other churches, connections between them, and sharing a group, an event or a prayer beyond your own congregation. Nothing crosses to another church unless somebody at your church shares it.
If you cannot open them
Seeing Community or Marketplace depends only on your role. If they are missing from your sidebar, your role does not include them. Ask an Owner or Admin. See Built-in roles.
Paid packs are something else
In the plan chooser on the Billing page, the section headed Add-ons sells extra SMS credits, extra storage and extra translation hours. Those are monthly packs on top of your plan, and they have nothing to do with Connect or Marketplace. See How pricing works.
